The Trinidad and Tobago Convention Bureau was established in 2009 as a department within the Tourism Development Company Limited. With a mandate to position Port of Spain as the meetings, conferences, incentives and events capital of the Southern Caribbean, the main focus of the Trinidad and Tobago Convention Bureau will be the effective marketing of Trinidad and Tobago as the destination of choice for regional and international meeting planners.
One of the top five destinations for Business and Convention visitors to the Caribbean region, Trinidad and Tobago’s potential as a prime meeting destination is further bolstered by strong energy, finance and manufacturing industries and an enviable track record in successfully hosting international events.

The Trinidad and Tobago Convention Bureau is a one-stop shop for meeting planners seeking independent information and assistance on hosting events in Trinidad and Tobago.
Providing unbiased and professional advice, the Trinidad and Tobago Convention Bureau can act as a liaison between you and our database of certified suppliers or provide introductions to providers with proven expertise.

- Introductions to local service providers including hotels, meeting facilities, event/meeting planners, social venues, transportation suppliers, tour operators and destination management companies
- Professional Assistance including liaising with local suppliers, collecting bids and proposals, coordinating site visits and providing information on social programmes and pre and post conference tours and activities
- Promotion and publicity inclusive of providing destination brochures, presentations and DVDs and publicizing your event on our website, events calendar and newsletters
