Trinidad Celebrates Restaurant Week 2016

14th September 2016

Port-of-Spain, Trinidad: The most anticipated week on the culinary events calendar in Trinidad and Tobago, Trinidad Restaurant Week will take place from 16th – 25th September 2016.

Over forty restaurants around Trinidad and Tobago will participate in the event dubbed, “A week of dining so big, it lasts ten days.” The participating restaurants, which range from casual to fine dining, will offer multi-course signature lunch and/or dinner menus, typically an appetizer, entree and dessert, a complimentary glass of wine and/or cocktail and cup of coffee.  Patrons can expect to dine at participating restaurants in four discounted price categories -- TT$400, TT$300, TT$200 or TT$120 per person (prices are inclusive of tax and service charge).

Now in its third year, Trinidad Restaurant Week promises unique dining experiences for patrons whether it’s a business lunch, romantic dinner, casual meal with friends or family, birthday celebration, or just a foodie getaway right here in Trinidad “This is one of the best culinary experiences that Trinidad offers,” said Shira Mohammed, of Bee Marketing and Events, the company behind the coordination of Trinidad Restaurant Week. “Our hope is that people make several dates to dine and enjoy Trinidad’s deliciously diverse culinary scene.” Ms Mohammed anticipates that Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays during the Week will sell out early as in previous years.  Patrons are encouraged to make their reservations directly with restaurants as soon as possible and well before Trinidad Restaurant Week begins.
